WBSC Oceania announced that the Paseo Stadium in Hagåtña, Guam, will host the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2024 Oceania Qualifier from 30 November to 4 December. World No. 34 Guam and No. 40 New Zealand will compete for the Oceania spot in a best-of-five series.
Game one is scheduled for Thursday, 30 November. Game three is scheduled for Saturday, 2 December. The eventual game five would happen on Monday, 4 December. Tuesday, 5 December, will be used for eventual make-up games.
Guam participated for the first time in the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup in Hermosillo, Mexico last year and finished 12th place in the 13-team tournament. New Zealand have participated twice, finishing 12th in 2016 in Iwaki, Japan, and 15th in 2014 in Mazatlan, Mexico.
The Guam Major League, the Guam National Olympic Committee and the Department of Parks & Recreation of the Government will host the tournament.
The Paseo Stadium is home to the Guam Major League and measures 410 feet (125 metres) in centre field and 320 feet (95 metres) at the foul poles.
The VI WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup is scheduled for next year. Dates and venues will be announced in the near future.
Five of the 12 participants have already qualified.

The International Baseball Federation held 13 World Youth Baseball Championship editions for the U-16 age bracket from 1989 to 2011.
